WORK RUNS
HOW THE WORK RUNS
An evaluation first, and a written report you keep.
Nobody starts treatment in rehabilitation without documentation of where the person actually is. The same rule applies here, and it is the reason this begins with an assessment rather than with advice.
WORK ON
WHAT WE WORK ON
Five capacities, and none of them is a number.
These decide whether your knowledge is available to you when it matters. All of them can be observed, which is deliberate. Progress here is measured in behavior rather than in profit and loss.
Regulatory capacity
Staying stable enough internally to perceive, decide and execute without being hijacked by urgency or relief seeking.
Perceptual clarity
Seeing the market rather than projecting threat, hope or frustration onto it.
Behavioral consistency
Repeating the same standards across different conditions and different moods.
Uncertainty tolerance
Staying functional without needing reassurance or immediate feedback.
Identity stability
Experiencing wins, losses and drawdown without renegotiating your self worth every time.
What they have in common
Every one of them is trained rather than willed, and every one of them is visible from outside before it is visible from inside.
SEQUENCE
THE SEQUENCE
Four steps, and you can stop after any of them.
An intake packet
Your trading background, your routines, your relationship with risk and money, and how you respond under exposure. It takes proper thought and it is not a form you fill in idly.
The evaluation session
Sixty to seventy five minutes going through what the intake surfaced.
A Functional Trader Report
Written, and yours. It describes how you currently function under financial pressure, where activation starts influencing your execution, and what the first priorities are.
A plan of care, if you want to continue
Eight or twelve weeks, weekly sessions, with something specific to do between them. Small, and graded to what you can actually hold right now.
COSTS
WHAT IT COSTS
The evaluation is $350.
One session of sixty to seventy five minutes, including the intake packet beforehand and the written report afterward. Most people start here, and for some it is all they need.
Follow up sessions
For working on something specific without committing to a program.
The Trader Rehabilitation Program
Eight or twelve weeks. Intake, evaluation, the report, weekly sessions, execution pattern work, and a plan of care you can see progress against.
If paying in one go is the thing stopping you, say so. I can split it. I would rather work with the right person on terms that suit them than lose them over the shape of a payment.
I take three people at a time in the Rehabilitation Program. Not scarcity for its own sake. It is what I can do properly alongside building, trading and a family, and I would rather say no than do this badly.
IS FOR
WHO IT IS FOR
Somebody who already has an edge and cannot execute it consistently.
You know your setups. You have read the books. You can explain exactly what you should have done, usually within about four seconds of not doing it.
If you do not have a method yet, this is the wrong order. That is different work, and it is what the middle phases of the Development Program are for. Say so and I will point you there first. This part lands better once you have something to execute.
If you are looking for signals, entries, or somebody to tell you what to trade, that is not what happens here.
And some of what shows up around trading is not really about trading. If we get there I will be honest with you about it, and I would want you working with somebody properly equipped for that part. I will still be here either way.
AM NOT
WHAT I AM NOT
I am not a therapist, and this is not therapy.
I am a doctor of occupational therapy and an active trader. I no longer hold a clinical license and I chose not to renew it. Nobody here is being treated or diagnosed.
What I use is rehabilitation as a method of education. That distinction is real and I hold to it carefully.
TO START
IF YOU WANT TO START
Tell me the specific thing, not the general one.
"I moved my stop three times on Tuesday and I still do not know why" is something I can work with. "I need better discipline" is not, because discipline was never the variable.
If I think this would help you, I will say so. If I think it would not, I will say that instead, and it costs you nothing to have asked.
